Hello, Mrs. Black!

This is a 12 years old Korean girl. :) I watch the program about vCJD and your son, Andrew on TV . While I was watching it, I learned about the disease and how it effects the humans. And my mom and I were both heartbroken when we watch the video that you took to show the process of vCJD that effected your son. And I also told my friends about vCJD. I hope that you don't lose you confidence and let people know about vCJD so that they could prevent it. There're lots and lots of people cheering for you and your son.

Best regards, YJ

Hi Christine,

It is clearly an incredibly difficult and emotional time for you, we do live in a very greedy, selfish world unfortunately, but there are people who genuinely care about what you are experiencing and send their caring thoughts and their unconditional love. Keep smiling for Andrew and try to enjoy a walk in the sunshine each day, I do believe that you will feel him with you. Take care Christine, never feel alone people do care and will help you.

Love and blessings, Annie

Hi Mrs. Christine, i am a korean student named Harry living in Xiamen, China for already 4 years...when i watched korean tv today, i saw you trying your best to tell about your son and the disease that caused your son's death. I feel really sad , and i wish you could overcome the sadness made by your son's death. I felt really sad when i saw you almost crying , and i also knew that if the U.K government made a proper prevention,
it wouldn't cause those deaths. because of lies of the governor... death caused by lies.. really unexpected ......

I really do wish that you will be able to overcome the sadness , bitterness ....
there are always hope when you are in times of trouble/ sadness/ bitterness ....
just be happy always, and take care of your health..i think your son Andrew, will Rest In Peace...i saw your son's picture..he is really handsome.......i really do feel sorry for this......
but i still wish you could be always happy !!!^^* ~~~

Take Care! Sincerely , Harry Kim

Christine:

I feel like I know you intimately from reading your posts. It's so sad to say that such a horrific disease can bring a global community together. We would be honored to post Andy’s photo and place his name on a balloon. May God continue to grant you the strength to move forward as you fight your battle against this horrific disease.

God Bless, Ed (USA)

Wow just seen the news I don't do this cant understand why but I have been touched by your love and pain. As a 51 year old farther who has lost loved ones I can understand some of the pain you feel though mine were of a natural / accident type so unlike you some sort of reason for the loss. Just had to say that I was thinking of you and I will petition the gov.

On watching the report on Meridian Tonight, this evening, I felt I had to email you, to praise you in your campaign for your sons justice! I have just visited your website and have read, in detail all about your campaign! I am touched by the developments in which you have made in this. Your son, sounded like such a talented man, who had progressed far in his life! I hope you progress even further in your campaign and can finally gain justice for your son! I support you 100% in your campaign and I hope to hear of any developments into who is to blame.

Thank you for taking time to read this, you are a true fighter, which truly inspires me.

Hi,

You most certainly have my support in your fight for justice, its the same old story in this country that money and profit are worth more than life. It is an immoral and a very sad story that people in the top positions in this country are allowed to get away with this kind of thing, we are the people that put these politicians in the positions they are in and we as the people should be able to get them out and make them accountable for there actions

Best of luck with your campaign.

A well wisher, Leslie

Dear Christine,

I watched your piece on the news programme and found it very moving. I thought that the reporters covered the story very sensitively and I wish you continuing success in bringing this scandal to the public's attention.

Sincerely, Pat

Christine:
I   read your emails and your story is just heart rendering. There really isn't much I can say except Happy Birthday Andrew. And to you Christine, keep up the fight as you are an inspiration to all of us who have lost loved ones. No one can truly understand what a family goes through when this horrible disease takes a loved ones life.
God Bless you and give the needed strength to carry on. Thank you for what you do not only for your son but for the rest of us.

Ed (from WV)

15th August 2008

Dear Christine,

I have just watched the 'Inside Out' in which you appeared on YouTube, and after looking at your website, I felt compelled to write. You are truly an inspiration, and I hope that your campaign achieves all you wish it to.

As a 21 year old who grew up in South Hampshire, I imagine I was exposed to many of the same things as your son. As soon as I was old enough to understand the issues surrounding BSE/vCJD, I stopped eating beef, but it disgusts me that I, and more to the point, people that I care about, were exposed to the foodstuffs that cause this terrible disease, purely because of the government's constant desire to make money; potentially at the cost of human life. It is well known that politicians and governments lie, but to me the way they lied about the BSE/vCJD link is more horrifying than the way they lie about other issues; countless young lives have been, and may continue to be, lost because of their dishonesty. I generally don't believe in playing the 'blame game,' but to me this is one of the cases where it is obvious where the blame lies; squarely at the feet of the government. I wish you and your family all the best.

Sarah

Dear Mrs Black

I am sure you must have been overwhelmed with emails and work as a result of your appearance on Woman’s Hour on 24th July. I am so very sorry about your son and admire you greatly for the work you are doing.

Best Wishes, Stephanie (OBE)

Hello Christine

I read your article in the Weekly News August 2nd 2008. First of all please accept my deepest sympathy, at the truly tragic loss of your son Andy, from this devastating illness.

I do agree with you that there has been a major cover-up. It is also strange that the Government could issue such positive time-scales re the age of the cattle which could not go into the food chain.

Good luck and best wishes for your future, Kathy R.
